| Day 4 sees a trip along the south coast from Southampton to Brighton to visit the Volks Electric Railway, the world's oldest operating electric railway.
After visiting the VER, it was time for a quick dash to London on a pair of FCC 319's through the Thameslink tunnel to West Hampstead Thameslink. A short walk down West End Lane to West Hampstead North London Line station for a trip to Richmond on a LORO Class 313. After Richmond, it was a trip through home turf via Twickenham to Staines on a SWT 450 for a SWT 455 to Woking and the final trip of the night on a SWT 444 to bring me back to Southampton. |
